OK, where to begin? Hmmmmm...well, Decades began in the winter of 2004-2005, with Rich Boyle and Mike Pepe jamming on countless Friday evenings, just looking to play a little. They had played together, off and on, for just about 20 years or so. Rich and Mike both have home studios, and have stayed involved, but had not gigged regularly in many, many...MANY years.

Along comes Christian in January of 2005. Mike knows him from work. He's a big Beatle fan (like Rich), and they hit it off instantly. The harmonies start coming together, fast and furious. They need a drummer now. Gerry's name comes up. Rich and Mike had both worked with Gerry before. He shows up for practice #1, early in the spring of 2005, with his acoustic drums. He shows up for practice #2 with a set of Yamaha DT Extreme electronic drums. He's serious.

Time for some keyboards and another voice. Gerry knows Mike Gluck from work. Mike shows up late in the spring of 2005, and we start looking at Billy Joel stuff, and Squeeze...

Things went rolling along for nearly 2 years with the personnel remaining exactly the same. Another buddy of Richie's starts showing up. Tom Cozzens knows Richie from work (seems like a common theme here.) "Cuzz" has been involved in the Friday night jam sessions for years, and played in that earlier Beatles cover band with Rich, Gerry and Mike a few times. The band has been thinking about adding another player, and Gerry suggests Cuzz. Everyone says "Yep," and in comes Tom, joining in the spring of 2007.
